With the beautiful setting of river and mountains, and lovely areas in the garden for your photographs, what could be a more idyllic wedding venue in Queenstown. If the weather does not allow this, a candle lit wedding ceremony in the sitting room can be just as lovely.

Package 1

Wedding Package $1900 incl.GST.

This is specially designed for the small, intimate wedding, possibly for the out of town bride who wants everything taken care of.

It includes the legal papers, wedding celebrant of your choice, selected colour photos mounted in an album (including a disc of all photos), a small cake, bridal bouquet, buttonhole of your choice and bubbly to toast. Trelawn will still operate as normal (ie. Guests may be staying at Trelawn and if so, they are free to move about the grounds) with this type of wedding. Luxury apartment accommodation can be added if required.
A deposit of $500 is required to confirm this wedding package.

Package 2

The Venue Day Hire to 6pm $850 incl. GST
Provides the following for up to 50 - 70 people;

  • Tables chairs and black table cloths for up to 70 people
  • 30 white resin chairs for the ceremony. White table and chairs for signing certificate.
  • 6 - 3m x 3m gazebos for shade.
  • Stereo for use with I pod for back ground music.
  • Use of the toilets for up to 40 people.
  • Help in setting up tables chairs bar etc as directed by you.
  • Help with organizing the parking of cars, and greeting guests as they arrive.
  • Help with setting up the bar with drinks etc on arrival. – Services of bar staff an extra charge.
  •  Provision of power and water.
  • Clearing up to the extent of packing away Trelawn's equipment tables and chairs etc. Excluding bottle disposal.

A deposit of $200 is required to confirm this wedding package.

Package 3

Evening Venue Hire until 11pm without accommodation provided $1700

This hire again provides all of the venue hire package above. Plus two portaloos.

Because of the unique mountain location, sound travels and is a issue with local residents. We regret that Bands and amplified music are not desirable. We request that ipod music with our sound system be kept to a considerate level and for it to cease at 11pm

- Gas heater for inside the marquee if needed, (the gas bottle is $35 charge)
- Flares for in the evening, a brazier with wood (we would get this going for you)

Trelawn has a 9m by 6.5m Marquee with lights for hire ($625), also a 6m X 2m, ideal for the buffet table or bar at $125.

A deposit of $500 is required to confirm this wedding package.

Because of the unique mountain location sound travels and is a issue with local residents. So we request that bands and amplified music to be kept to a considerate level and that loud noise ceases after 11pm. Quiet ipod music for around the evening fire is fine.

Package 4

Venue Hire + 2 nights accommodation with breakfast $4610 incl. GST

This package provides Bed and Breakfast for 10 people in 5 King ensuite rooms, and the venue hire fee, plus two Portaloos hidden in the trees.
- Gas heater for inside the marquee if needed, (the gas bottle is $35 charge)
- Flares for in the evening, a brazier with wood (we would get this going for you)

A deposit of $500 is required to confirm this wedding package.

For a post wedding function where there is a reasonable number of people, there is an extra charge of $200 Incl. GST.

Package 5

Venue Hire until 11pm including two nights honeymoon accommodation in the Cherry tree house $2400

A deposit of $500 is required to confirm this wedding package.

Trelawn has a 9m by 6.5m Marquee with lights for hire ($625), also a 6m X 2m, ideal for the buffet table or bar at $125.
Trelawn can make suggestions for Celerbrants, Carterers, Hair and Makeup artists Florist, Hair stylist, Photographer, Musician and transportation options. We suggest SJ Allens for porta loos, if you require them.

A non refundable deposit of $500 is required to confirm a wedding booking, along with credit card details for security of payment. Full payment required one week prior to wedding. A damages bond of $250 is required on arrival. This is refundable a week after departure.
Payments by credit card incurrs a 3% bank service fee.

If a wedding reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, 25% of the value of the accommodation reserved will be charged.

BYO drinks no corkage charge. We have large drinks bins for your bags of ice.

We are able to assist you in finding your Celebrant, Florist, Hair stylist, Photographer, Musician, Caterer etc. Saving you the expense of a Wedding coordinator.

We used Trelawn as the location for our wedding having only seen on-line and reviews. The place is staggering and the hosts, Michael and Nery really could not have done more to make things go perfectly. The hard work they put into the place is obvious, but also the little things that surprise and delight (like the hot tub, and the beautiful gardens, and the heaters at night in the garden) are wonderful.

Also, they worked incredibly hard behind the scenes and did countless things that we are not even aware of and they do not expect thanks for - but I know they did.

The location is second to none - it is just like it is in the photographs, or even better.

With respect to the comments about dogs they were never intrusive and if ever a bit nosy quickly coaxed away by Michael. To be honest I'm not a dog person but they didn't offend me at all, and they actually added even more character to the place.

And with respect to the comments about the Shotover Jet; again it really is not that intrusive - they pass by only occasionally but regularly and the quiet between them is complete, the breaks frequent and long and the occasional squeals of delight always made me giggle - even during our wedding ceremony!

The rooms are all absolutely spotless, very comfortable, well equipped and characterful. The grounds are beautifully kept and the lawn wonderful. Do yourself a favour and make a stay at Trelawn, if you are having a wedding even better (you can trust Nery and Michael and their sub-contractors completely), this location and these hosts will make for a truly unforgettable day.
